What a day

I were out yesterday looking for pet shop that sell feeder rats or fancy rats ( not mice!!!) in PJ and Subang area. We were actually looking for a playmate for my pet rat Tickle. We bought her from 'Wang Wang Aquirium' in PJS 9 near to our place right before valentines day.

After we bought her only we found out that they actually need playmates of their own kind so that they can socialize among themselves. So we went all around PJ and Subang to look for pet shops that sell rats. Apparently, after so many days of seacrhing still we're unable to find a sister for Tickle. It's kinda sad that no one actually breed them anymore. Most pet shops we went don't sell rats anymore. Some even feel weird that we are asking to buy one. Malaysians are treating rats purely as food to feed carnivore raptiles like snakes and tarantula. It's so unfair because no one would feed a hamster to a snake but only mouse and rats. =( So sad. Do you know that rats are the smartest among all rodens? Not even mice can be like them. You can even train them and they can be as tame as a dog. All rats have their own character and they can even grow until as large as your palm or bigger. But its not good to leave them alone because they'll feel lonely easily. It's a heartache to see Tickle being left alone most of the time with no body playing with her, that's why we are running all the place to get a friend for her. Meanwhile, she's getting more and more firmiliar with me. She's starting to become more and more playful and dares to climb up to my palm by herself now. Not like at the begining. We think it should be her background that made her so defensive and scared. But I guess she finally gets it that we are not a threat to her and she is not going to be whatever meet eater food. We went to look for Tickle's playmate again yesterday and USJ and PJS. It was a bad luck day though. We had a flat tire in the middle of no where and had to walk to the shop to look for help (and me in high heals... sob...) because one of every tire has a safety nat that its shape differs from the usual hexagon nat. And guess what, the shops weren't open because it was a Sunday. Thank God that on our way back we bump into two polices in the housing area. They check their boot but no luck of finding the tool that we need. Then finally they called for back up. They waited there with us for about 30 minutes. So another police car came and same thing too, no luck. They drove us back to our car. I would never imagine the first time I sat on a police car will be under this condition. They were pretty helpful. Totally change my view on the polices in Malaysia. I guess there are still kind ones out there willing to help civilians in need.

Finally Kar had to call his dad and ask. - _ -'' What we were looking for was all along in the glove compartment in the car itself.

This is it. Stupid nat, or silly us. We wasted an hour looking for it. Then Kar started to change the flat tire. The sky is then against us.

Right after he took of the flat tire, the rain pour down heavily. Poor Kar, standing under the rain changing tire. Should sound sexy... but it was awful. Not after a long and dreadful day.

And finally a moving car to go home. It was pure bad luck. We didn't found a friend for Tickle. We got ourselves a flat tire and a set wet clothes, and an emo night ahead. Sigh... Tickle. When you grow up, mommy's gonna tell you this story over and over again.
