When we were little, adults always say this to us, "don't run, you'll fall down". I've been working in the kindergarten for quite some time and I still hearing teachers asking kids not to run or they'll fall. For me, I prefer them to fall. People learn form pain. I would rather let them fall and stand up by themselves. They'll know from the experience that doing that may make themselves hurt therefore they won't repeat the same mistakes. We can only help them by their side, so that we are there for them when they fall and make sure they don't fall too hard. Make sure they still have the strength to stand again. For kids, they have their parents to guide and plan the road for them. Unfortunately, for most parents, they want their children's lives flawless, without mistakes. A white paper will remain plain unless you are willing to paint it with colours. And that can only be done by themselves. Children always want the chance to go their own way once in a while, doesn't mean they are rebellious. For us, we are grown up and most of the time we fall. How much we hope someone is there when we fall, to make sure we don't fall too hard, to make we have the strength to stand again. But look back, often are those times that we had felled made us grow most. We'd learnt what is good for us, what will harm us. We'd learnt to be stronger and braver. We are the ones who can help ourselves not to fall to hard. So, it's okay if you fall. Don't cry and stand up.
